Bridgette's goodbye

These past four years seem to have gone by in the blink of an eye. I still remember EOP summer like it was yesterday. College was indeed hard, but it was the best experience I’ve ever had the honor of taking part in. The connections, memories and work that I have done here will last a lifetime. A special shout out to my roommates Samantha and Lashanae, who have shown me the true meaning of love without condition. Thank you to my closest advisors Sandra Vasquez and Mary McCrank, who have always looked out for me throughout my entire journey. There have been many obstacles in my college journey and sometimes I thought I wouldn’t make it, but by the grace of God, in a few days I will be able to call myself a college graduate! To all the friends I encountered who are either still in my life or not, my gratitude goes out to you. Each and every encounter has helped me grow as a person. My mentors and family, who have helped financially, physically and spiritually — I will forever be in debt to these individuals. Last but not least, my Stylus family. Thank you for accepting me as the weird person I am. Tori, Alyssa and Bre, thank you for giving me the opportunity to work for the paper and allow my creative juices to flow every week. I wish I had the space to write how each person in the office has impacted me in a positive way, but just know all of you are extremely special to me. We may fuss and fight, but the love I have for you all is genuine, and I hope you all feel comfortable enough to stay in contact after I graduate. Brockport wasn’t my first choice, but it was the best choice.
