“The Greatest Showman Reimagined” is the second soundtrack from the hot movie “The Greatest Showman,” but this time Pasek and Paul, the creators of the movie, as well as various Broadway hits like “Dear Evan Hansen,” managed to get help from other artists such as Pentatonix, P!nk, Panic! at the Disco, The Zac Brown Band and more.

The album has all of the same songs as the movie did, but each of the artists were given a different song from it to cover. Personally, I love this album. I was a huge fan of “The Greatest Showman” when it came out and after a while I had listened to the album so much that it just got dull to me. Adding in these different artists breathes new life into an already amazing group of songs.

There’s a little bit of something for everyone in the album with the likes of Ty Dolla $ign representing rap, Pentatonix representing a capella, Zac Brown Band and Kelly Clarkson representing modern country and Panic! at the Disco representing alternative, all that along with Paul and Pasek normally writing songs for musicals, giving it a modern feel in every song. It brings everything together.

You don’t need to be a fan of any certain kind of music to enjoy the album because all of the songs are for everyone. By far one of my favorite songs on the album is the cover of “From Now On” by the Zac Brown Band, it does have a country feel to it which I am not a huge fan of, but I still love the song. It is very well covered, the group does justice to both the album and show.  Overall the song reflects what The Zac Brown Band has done in the past.

I will admit there are some songs that I am not a huge fan of, one being the “A Million Dreams” cover by P!nk.

For me, the song fell a little short, but it might be because the song is generally a duet and she did the song by herself. Don’t get me wrong, she sounded very good as always, but I just was not a fan of her cover.

Overall, the album is amazing and I’m very glad that it came out (on November 16, 2018). I believe that anyone could listen to this and enjoy it in its entirety. It doesn’t matter if you’ve seen the movie, it doesn’t matter if you dislike a certain kind of music, it is still an amazing album that I believe everyone should listen to at some point.
