Released less than a year after “Cozy Tapes Vol. 1”, “Cozy Tapes Vol. 2: Too Cozy” has not failed to carry the infamous reputation of the first edition crew album.

The 17-track album provides evidence to the power of creativity that runs within A$AP Mob. With a hefty guest list, the second volume of the series includes artists who are not part of A$AP Mob, like Frank Ocean, Playboi Carti and Quavo. The hip-hop/rap album captures the true essence of what A$AP Mob really is: a group of visionary artists who trip over each other while trying to get to the mic.

The first album of the series, “Cozy Tapes, Vol. 1”, was a teaser compared to what the fans received from the second album of the series. The second volume of the album provided an introspective view of the potential behind A$AP Mob’s ability to bring a friendship of artists to music, something which is rare to find in other albums.

A$AP Mob’s music portrays the up-coming of its hip-hop collective with its recent music release. Formed in 2006, the group was established by a few of the current artists of today’s group, including ASAP Yamz and ASAP Bari. Today, the group finds themselves with more than 10 members, with the likes of famous influencers such as ASAP Rocky and ASAP Ferg. The group is based on the combination of rappers, fashion designers, and friends that share similar interests.

“Cozy Tapes Vol. 2” was one of the best ranked albums upon its release. Holding multiple spots across the top hip-hop charts for almost three weeks, the second album of the series demonstrated the quality of production and overall music that A$AP Mob has been responsible for over the past year. With five out of the 17 tracks establishing a spot in the the entire top music charts of iTunes, the group has proven that its production ranges through many different genres.

Listening to the second album of the series provides the audience with a sense of relaxation and comfortability. This is due to the fact that the group pursued the making of a production that displayed casual but truthful events of the everyday friendship vibes that the artists experience. The A$AP Mob has never failed to demonstrate honest messaging, resulting in a pure sound that every listener can relate to.

The A$AP Mob has recently announced that the group is working on the third volume of the series. Fans should expect a continuation of the adventures that the collective will have endured during 2018. This will be a truly exciting moment for the hip-hop industry.
