Break out your heels and bow ties for The College at Brockport's next red carpet event, "Bad & Boujee," held this Sunday, April 23, in the New York Room in Cooper Hall.

Sponsored by your student activity fee, this semester's largest Screaming Eagle Records event is sure to get you pumped for the end of the semester.

Be sure to get there on time because pictures and mingling begins at 6:30 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m. and introductions of the first performers at 7:30 p.m. Even dessert is included later on into the night.

Performers of the night include campus hits like George Mackaveli and the club's own bands The Alphas and Nothing Left. New to the club is member Jenna Cohen, who found the club in January during the college's semesterly Club Craze. Cohen performed a song at the Take Back the Night march last fall semester, but this will be her first performance with the record label. Backing her vocals will be The Alphas.

"I'm so excited," Cohen said. "I know it sounds cliche but I feel very honored to be performing with them because they were all just so welcoming and nice and really supportive of me even though I was basically a complete stranger. They really encouraged me to pursue music."

Screaming Eagle Records frequently works with other clubs and Greek life to provide musical services, but this will be the club's first exclusive event of the semester.

Tickets are on sale at the box office or online at brockportsg.universitytickets.com. Tickets are $2 per student, $4 per guest.
